The Dancing Dolphin is seven miles from the Skye Bridge

From the Skye Bridge on the A87 head towards Broadford. Keep on the A87 through Breakish and past the Armadale turn. Approximately 100 metres after the Harrapool sign and approximately 50 metres before the 30 mile hour sign you turn right signed to Waterloo. If you pass the Hebridean Hotel on your left you have gone past the Waterloo turning. The Dancing Dolphin is about 500 metres down the Waterloo shore road on the right hand side. 

The Dancing Dolphin location is on the outer edge of Broadford Bay in the quiet township of Waterloo and in a very sunny position. Protected by a natural reef the sandy tidal bay is safe for swimming, kayaking, wind surfing and other water activities being relatively shallow at high tide. Beyond the reef dolphins are sometimes seen breeching out of the water, seals pop up inquisitively and shy sea otters are occasionally spotted. A ten minute walk brings you to a seal nursery where in the summer months the seals have their pups and bask in the sun on the big flat rocks. A buzzard is regularly seen over the croft land and wild pheasants have become very tame and demand to be fed three times a day. We make no apology if either the pheasants, noisy curlews or oyster catchers wake you up in the morning!
