Indian Head Massage originates in India, where it is carried out regularly on all members of the family to keep the scalp and the hair in good condition, relieve body tension, and promote health, peace and harmony.

This westernised version includes the whole back too, to help relieve the pressures of busy lifestyles  that build up tension in the whole of the upper body. This is a calming, soothing, oil free massage which is carried out with the client fully clothed, in a seated position in a specially designed chair. The rhythmical pressures systematically work up the back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, head, and face. Working on specific acupressure points aids circulation, releases toxins, and brings the body into balance.
