Aromatherapy Shop Privacy

 

Ordering - Just browse our Catalog, enter the quantity (if more than one) and click order. The item(s) will be added to your shopping cart. At any time you can view your shopping cart and delete items, adjust the number required or send the item(s) to the "save for later shopping list".

  

From the shopping cart you after you have finished placing your order, click on Checkout and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process your order. The payment options are card, cheque or telephone. You can cancel your order at any stage during the checkout process and there is no commitment to purchase until you have fully completed the payment process. If payment is by telephone or cheque we will only process order once payment has been received.

 

Payment - Is normally via WorldPay and accepts Visa, MasterCard, Solo, Delta and Switch Cards. Optionally and as part of the checkout process payment type can be selected to be made by cheque (payable to The Dancing Dolphin) or by telephoning payment card details to The Dancing Dolphin  01471822409.

 

Out of stock - All our products are handmade in our Isle of Skye workshop, though we do maintain a level of stock all year round. In the unlikely event that some of your items need to be made-up, we will add to our production list. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait for it to be delivered.

 

Shipping and Handling - A handling and postage charge is added and displayed during the checkout process from which you can cancel at any time. A standard £1.00 handling is added plus 10% of items cost towards of packaging and carriage. e.g.: a £10.00 order would incur a £2.00 cost, a £20.00 order would incur a £3.00 cost.

 

Delivery Schedule - Orders are normally processed and despatched within 5 working days by first class post or Parcel Force. UK Mainland orders usually arrive within 2 working days of despatch. You should note that Parcel Force do not deliver on a weekend.

During the lead up to, and just after holiday periods, mail traffic inevitably slows down or is delayed so bear this in mind if you are placing an order just before Christmas, Easter or a Bank Holiday.

 

Cancellation - You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days without giving a reason. This 7 day period begins the day after receipt of the goods.

 

Returns - If you wish to exchange or return an item, please contact us within 7 days. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part we will be happy to refund all delivery charges incurred. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges and the costs of any other services provided to you in connection with your purchase.

 

Refunds - We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase within 14 business days from receiving your return, and no later than 30 days after your cancellation. If returned goods are not received by The Dancing Dolphin within this 30 day period, a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods. 

 

Damages and Errors - Check your order carefully upon delivery, and report any damages or shortages within 7 business days to The Dancing Dolphin. In the case of damages incurred during transit, all packaging materials must be kept for inspection by Royal Mail or Parcel Force. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

Tax Charges - Currently 17.5% VAT is included in all prices quoted. When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you since we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

 

Credit Card Security - This site utilises the industry leading WorldPay system to securely process card payments. We do not hold a record of your card details on our website.

 

Privacy Policy - The Dancing Dolphin respect your privacy and are totally committed to protecting your personal information at all times. We only collect and use information about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

Information is collected about you prior to or as part of the checkout process, we will need your name, address, phone number, e-mail address to process your order. Be assured that any information that we have collected from you is not given or sold to advertisers, agencies or third parties.

 

Complaints - If for any reason you are unhappy with our service, or have a complaint, it will be handled in a fair and confidential manner. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 3 working days and a timescale of action will be given to you.
